Fasting in Shawwaal

Does the six days of fasting in Shawwal have to be consecutive? Shaykh ibn Baaz رحمه الله تعالى : It is permissible to fast it consecutively or intermittently.

Those Who Remember Allaah Often

ibn Salaah: Whoever takes care upon saying the morning and evening adhkaar, the adhkaar after salaah, and the adhkaar before sleeping then he is counted to be from those who remember Allaah much.

Tawoos ibn Kaysaan rahimahullaah said, “The son of Aadam does not utter anything except that it is enumerated, even his cries of pain/moans when he is sick.

Befriend the Righteous

Qataadah rahimahullaah said: “By Allaah, we do not see that a man befriends people except that they are like him and similar to him. Therefore, befriend the righteous people from the slaves of Allaah, so that you can be with them or similar to them.”
